Mikey Marcus | President

When resident boy-next-door Mikey Marcus isn’t breaking hearts with his 238 TikTok thirst traps, this Jewish superstar can be found making the crowd swoon at Dischord performances. Though he has cracked his head open twice, this tough cookie never lets adversity get in his way. If you’re looking for this PPE major, he’s probably busy with Kite & Key or (insert any other activity here, because he does it all). In his spare time, chef Mikey can be found in the kitchen whipping up his signature dish-- oatmeal lace cookies-- and drooling over Frank's buffalo sauce. Dischord is so happy to have Spicy Mikey join the family!

Ande Isom | Co-Music Director

Manhattan native Ande Isom is a veritable Troy Bolton, with a fierce talent for both singing and basketball. Her athleticism does not stop there - she's also a devoted SoulCycle-goer and masterful hula hooper! Catch Ande soarin, flyin down Chestnut for her daily iced dirty chai coconut milk latte, listening to Frank Ocean and Mac Miller, or curling up on the weekends to watch High School Musical and Family Feud. It's not caffeine that gives her that energetic glow (as she is certifiably NOT a coffee drinker), but rather her passion for social justice and activism. She is thrilled to be a part of the Dischord family!

Teo Reimbold - Thomas | Co-

Music Director

From South Bend, Indiana and majoring in Urban Studies, Teo is one talented and soulful individual with eclectic interests. He's a fan of alternative/indie bands, rock, R&B, folk, and some pop and hip hop. Some of his favorite artists are Hozier, Lake Street Dive, and the Avett Brothers. When he isn't singing his heart out, Teo enjoys playing the guitar, ultimate frisbee, baking, thrift shopping, and biking. Both his dad and older brother sang in college a cappella groups, and he is super excited to continue this legacy as a part of the Dischord family!

Reil Abashera | Assistant Music Director

When it comes to music, Reil Abashera is the Reil Deal. This West Philly native has vocals like Ariana Grande—with the whistle register to match—and as a cellist, she’s no stranger to bass notes. You will find covers of some of her favorite artists like Ari, The Weeknd, and Summer Walker on her Instagram. She is also working on writing and recording music of her own. A child of Sudanese immigrants, Reil is a worldly queen who speaks Arabic and loves to watch Turkish dramas in her spare time. Reil’s star sign is Aquarius with Leo rising and Cancer moon.

Angela Gomez | Business Manager

Hailing from the great Dallas, Texas, Angela is a self-proclaimed “sad boy music” aficionado with her favorite artists including Dean Lewis, Alex Benjamin, Lewis Capaldi, and James Arthur. Her non-sad boy favorites include Sia and Adele. She reads romance and new adult books so much (almost too much) that her family says she’s more likely to be grounded for reading than anything else. Angela applauds the DXA family for making the newbs feel so welcomed at BYOs and social events.

Brinina Altamirano | Publicity Manager

From the suburbs of Philadelphia, Brinina is so thrilled to be a part of Dischord! If she’s not out in the fields playing literally any sport, you can find her watching the sunset or stargazing. On top of that, she also enjoys painting, playing her guitar, and playing piano. But for now, she’s super busy ironing out some fire soprano harmonies at rehearsal. Brinina is extremely talented and also the coolest person ever. We are super excited to have her as part of the Dischord family!

Leandra Archibald | Social Chair

Leandra is probably the funniest person in Dischord (if it weren’t for her questionable choice in Percy Jackson books she would for sure be #1 funniest). From Mount Vernon, New York, this short Libra jokester loves to produce music, listen to R&B, and fake marriage proposals in the middle of Times Square (yes, it’s happened). Leandra is a very talented and lively finance major who is so excited about joining the Dischord family!

Leslie Camacho Sosa |

Secretary

As a Mexican-American born in Los Angeles, Leslie is a ballad loving alto/tenor who has not visited Mexico in her life. When she isn’t singing along to Adele, Miley Cyrus, or Lady Gaga, you can catch her running, playing soccer or jamming to classic rock. This California queen loves Korean anime almost as much as she loves ceviche, aguachiles, or anything that has chicken on it. But her uniqueness doesn’t stop there. Aside from being a math genius, she also speaks Spanish and Korean! Leslie is beyond proud and excited to be a part of the Dischord family!

Yeo-Re Lee

Yeo-Re is our hero like Ben10. He gives off serious earth bender vibes. He bends notes back and forth when he sings. Yeo-Re is a Taurus, which makes sense because you don’t become this good at singing without devotion. Dischord was after Yeo-Re! It was a chase in order to get him to be apart of our bass :) Yeo-Re is good at basketball, volleyball, and track. When it comes to singing, he never holds back.

Andre Marana

From Old Bridge, New Jersey, our tenor Andre is secretly a track star who can run for days. If there was a world record for fastest movement from note to note, his face would be center stage. When he isn’t “running”, helping direct the Fall Show, or walking over to practice, he likes listening to classics, eating pho, and playing the guitar. You can catch him playing Sufjan Stevens, Frank Ocean, Phoebe Bridgers, and Stevie Wonder, to name a few. No matter when you catch him, Andre is always excited to show out for the Dischord family.

Collin Lovelace

If you looked up ‘multi-talented’ in the dictionary, you would probably find a picture of Collin Lovelace alongside the definition. This baritone from Central Massachusetts is a king with many passions, and he does not come to play! Not only is Collin an amazing singer, he also loves to write poetry, watch cooking and baking videos, and play video games. Aside from his killer bass notes, Collin is also passionate about community engagement and is a part of the Undergraduate Assembly at Penn. Being part Lebanese, he loves baklava, and some of his other favorite foods include pasta and ramen. We truly struck gold having him in Dischord!!

Ankit Poudel

After the split up of his high school boy band, One Direction, Ankit felt lost and in need of a new home. Luckily, he has found that home in Dischord. As a pre-med student who’s involved in groups like Masti and Fimrc, he tends to be pretty busy. When he does have free time, he can be found talking about his eating habits (eating cookie dough straight from the tub… we don’t judge). Ankit claims to be a cereal connoisseur, but he hates Lucky Charms and deems the marshmallows “too sweet.” While the rest of us in Dischord strongly disagree, we are still so excited to have him in the group!

Ben Lin

Ben is our top-notch beatboxer from Holmdel, NJ. With this man around, there's no need to go clubbing; you can get the same experience with a dark room and a disco ball (the only difference is that the drinks are cheaper). Ben picked up his skills through imitating sounds from whatever music he was listening to. He draws his inspiration from his favorite artists like Pixel Terror, Jon Bellion, and Bazzi. When Ben is not beatboxing, you can find him playing both flute and piano, or tending to the chickens and geese he keeps at home. We are delighted that Ben decided to bring his talents to the stage with Dischord!

Cameron Ito

Hailing from just outside of Los Angeles, Cameron is our resident udon lover! When he’s not listening to Khalid or Red Velvet, you can find him collecting albums, playing 2048 in class, or thrifting. Cameron is a man of many talents. Besides singing, he spends his time planning club events as a part of the Japanese Student Association board and being the production chair for the Korean dance group K-Beats. He is also a master at making fried rice in his dorm kitchen when he gets tired of dining hall food. We are so excited to have Cameron in the Dischord family!!

Reem Assi

Meet Reem Assi, a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences, hailing from Palestine. She rocks the piano, guitar, and ukelele while slinging poetic prowess for the Excelano Project. When she’s not busy shaping international affairs and penning captivating stories for “Fenjan,” a Middle East and North Africa region based magazine, you’ll find her on a mission to locate the perfect vanilla pudding at Gourmet Grocer. She’s got enough positivity and excitement to light up an entire city, and we’re so excited to see what she does next with Dischord!

Kamila Kudela

Kamila Kudela, a Manhattan native, is a multi-talented individual with a deep passion for sports, creativity, and helping others. Over the years she’s played a variety of sports, some of which include volleyball, tennis, track, gymnastics, and ultimate. When she’s not on the field, Kamila is a skilled knitter and crocheter, and has a knack for playing the guitar. Her most notable accomplishment on the instrument was memorizing the entirety of “Married Life” from the movie UP. Beyond her hobbies, Kamila has a soft spot for dogs. She has dedicated some of her time to dog-sitting, fostering, and volunteering at dog shelters. She is currently studying Nursing and Healthcare Management, embodying her commitment to making a positive impact on the healthcare industry and beyond. We are so thankful and excited to have her wonderful self in Dischord!

Julian Caesar

From the greatest part of Philly (West Philly), Julian Caesar is an inspiration to everyone he meets. From the age of 3, Julian started his music career by writing a song about Thomas the Tank Engine. In high school, his friends recognized his talent and pushed him into musical theatre, where he flourished and even wrote a musical about COVID-19. He’s a fan of artists like Bruno Mars, Harry Styles, SZA, Frank Ocean, and The Weeknd. In his free time, Julian loves to crush his friends in video games and scare them with horror movies. He’s an extremely talented individual and he’s extremely happy to be a part of Dischord. Shoutout to all Philly sports teams:)

Ashley Chung

Our favorite mainstream girly from Manhattan, PPE-major Ashley is a pop superstar. When she isn’t singing with Dischord or creating beautiful harmonies on the spot, social butterfly Ashley can be found hanging out with friends or watching sitcoms. She always serves— both with her impeccable fits and delicious home-cooked meals. Ashley’s also recently learned how to DJ, so you can bet she’s the life of the party. And watch out for her ppppoker face because she will crush you in any board game. Dischord is so lucky to have such a talented gal with us.

Damian Ferraro

Meet Damian, the sophomore sensation who transferred from UNC, bringing a hint of southern charm to our campus. With his unique blend of Polish and Italian heritage, Damian’s DNA is 50% pasta sauce and 50% pierogi filling, making him the ultimate culinary fusion expert. When he’s not enjoying the finest vanilla pudding from Gourmet Grocer, you’ll find him on the field playing soccer or beatboxing in his dorm. His talents extend far beyond the pudding bowl. Damian’s real superpower is the contagious positive energy he brings to every every rehearsal. Need a pick-me-up? Damian’s got you covered. So, if you ever need some good pudding, a great story, or just a fantastic friend, Damian is your go-to guy!
